Or at least it feels like that sometimes.  So many pieces of art I start off with enthusiasm.  I draw them and start colouring or scan and start colouring...then suddenly I start to slow down.  Next thing I know half a year has passed and the drawing is still there.  I've probably returned to it a few times but if I've coloured more than 2% more I'll be surprised.

I just seem to run out of steam and am constantly looking to the next picture I'm going to draw without thinking of the ones I haven't finished.

As an example I recently uploaded a screenshot of most of my "in progress" pieces,

The scary thing is that some of those pieces have been in my "in progress" posts before.  For example the turrican pieces.  Also the Chun-Li vs Ling Xiaoyu one has been on the go for years.  Nobody was even talking about SFxT the game when I drew that originally and now the games been and gone.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Do I need to learn patience?  I know it's not likely to happen.
